The garden illustrated was for a client living in one of the Cotswold villages between Banbury and Cheltenham.
The detached house owners already had installed a redwood deck terrace. Our brief was to design a garden to integrate with the terrace but to make it far easier for the family to enter the garden from the garage entrance up to the house.
The slope from the garage to the house was substantial and our client quickly informed us that it was no mean feat to carry the shopping, let alone their infant son with his tricycle.
From our introductory discussion a list of wishes were formed. These included a safe area for Timothy to play, lighting to enable safe step climbing, evening relaxation, a focal point, a level lawn and planting that would provide structure as well as being easy to maintain.
It was agreed to use Oak Sleepers to the area at the side of the house to form the border edge.
We sourced all the items including the large orb water feature, the lighting, the play swing and the rubber chippings for a safe surface in the play area.
The recommended Landscaper carried out the work to the highest standard and was highly praised by the client for their diligent work.
