To a great degree it’s about ‘Light’. With the proximity of these gardens this one is in part shade for hours at a time so reflective materials needed to be chosen.
Our client's wish was for us to design a modern garden that would stay light as much as possible. Plus, a provision of a secluded seating area with a swing seat between planting beds and a central focal point.
Being small it would be ideal if the structures could reflect the sun as it travels overhead.
Our final design included using tubular polished stainless-steel posts to semi-screen the diverse sections yet provide stunning focal points of their own.
